New Photoshop Elements

$90 - not bad - Its listed there as pre-order though?

At a sub R1k price I will definitely invest in it - already got the How To?? book at the local CNA
I've already got Photoshop - I just wanted to play with the demo. :)

I'm with adsl3g - for a complete newbie the full Photoshop is overwhelming. I spend more time trying to figure out how to do stuff than actually doing it.

Speaking of which, I picked up a copy of Photoshop CS3 For Dummies over the weekend. Anyone here using it? I'll report back on it once I get into it, but for now I have two exams coming up so it's going to be a while.

Having problems with PS?

What koffie said...

I also got the Complete tool guide to PS and Elements 6 from CNA - but to get to use it is another thing. If I can't normally figure it out myself I tend to dump an app.

Besides my PS is not licensed. If I paid for an app I tend to spend more time trying to learn it..:o

Sure is - I've been using it for so long that I often forget so Elements must be ideal for the non-power user.

That said my Photoshop CS3 is licensed so buying elements as well might be a bit of a waste - some hands on with a demo might help me decide. :)
