New Planet Found in Our Solar System?

This just makes me want to watch Journey to the Far Side of the Sun.

Wasn't there an article about something similar last year as well?

Well we know there is one, known for about 100 years+ so you would get articles like this pop up every now and then. esp as other calculations reveal the existence of such a planet.

That is until we land a probe on it or do a flyby and give it a name.

Too far out to be easily spotted by telescopes, the potential unseen planet appears to be making its presence felt by disturbing the orbits of so-called Kuiper belt objects, said Rodney Gomes, an astronomer at the National Observatory of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.

Doesn't sound right .. Hubble can see almost to the outer edges of the universe why would a planet a *lot* closer not be visible?

It seems anything beyond Neptune is just pure speculation anyway.

Star that emits light does not equal a planet that is so far out that the light reflected off it is almost unable to separate against the background noise from the universe. ;)
