New players raise concern over channels

I'll wake up and pay attention to this whole debate once someone tells me what the other channels will actually be showing with regard to content...

I'm not going to sign up with a channel JUST because their new... they'll have to have something worth watching!.

Right now... SABC can hardly fill 3 Channels with good content... what are they gonna do with 24 Channels?... show repeats of the same tiresome old movies and series?

given this... What is Telkom media and ODM gonna show?... soccer and rugby?
 
This topic really has become boring and seem's too lead no where but i must disagree about there not being enough content there Is alot of series documentaries movies even soapies So many titles we don't even know about
 
I KNOW!, I Travel overseas every second month, I've Seen how much content there is...
I use a DVD Recorder to record TV when I'm there and come back with 10 DVD's jam packed full of stuff.

the problem is that for some reason, We never end up getting it on TV on this dark continent.
 
Why don't they just stop bitching and launch the service. If not this sector should be opened up to other players willing to offer the service.

EXACTLY!!!... their so busy moaning about what could and might happen that they never actually get anything done...

I call it analyses Paralyses!.
 
maybe they should let santa decide and maybe we will have these channels by xmas and a mpeg4 decoder plus a palm tree 4 free
 
lots of backstabbing and payoffs but no tv nor fast internet
