Hey

So my GIGAbyte Odin is aging, looking to replace it. 720W Peak.
Looking at this: SeaSonic SS-750KM3 X750 Gold 750W ATX12V 12V 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

http://www.wootware.co.za/seasonic-...ied-full-modular-active-pfc-power-supply.html

PC Specs:

i2600K @ 4.6gHz OC
16GB Corsair Vengeance Ram
128GB SSD
2 x 2TB HDD
2 x 1TB HDD
AMD 7950 3GB GPU
Cooler Master V8 Cooler
ARMOR REVO Snow Edition

I know I should be fine with a 550 or so, but I do like the room to play.

On a side note: I do have a PFC (Power Factor Correction Unit) installed at home, and have seen a 10% drop usage wise :)

Any recommendation welcome :)

Bigger (a tad, not overkill) is better. Just check where the efficiency is at its best, for your use.

That's a good powersupply, you can't go wrong with it. I've got a Corsair TX750M and it suits my needs well (my pc is specced similarly to yours). So quiet it could just as well be off.

That PSU is fantastic!

On a side note:
PFC shouldn't improve a home user's electricity bill, because you're not supposed to pay for the apparent power (S) - or at least this is how I understand it.
Businesses do however pay for it, so there it would make sense to have PFC.

Have a PFC installed @ home & Business. Seen savings in both thou.

PSU Ordered.

Thanks all :)
