New processor: Dual-Core Celeron

There is new Intel CPU out. The Intel Celeron E1200, its a 1.60GHz dual-core with 800MHz FSB and 512KB cache.

Should probably retail for R500 to R550 bucks, which is less than the 2.0GHz single core one...

I've gone the celeron route. i would advise against it.

I've got a 2yr old P4 1.8ghz 1GB RAM & a Celeron D 1.6ghz 512MB.

I don't play games on either, but general PC usage on both is pretty much the same

Quite pointless, if you look at the price of an E2140, which will be faster, OC better and be around the same price.

this is the one i have, pretty keen on overclocking it - not that i know how to oc
