One can download a file to the device using its built-in web browser or install Opera Mini on it , once the download is complete , simply connect your usb cable to the device and search for the file your downloaded on it using the file manager in Windows.

There seems to be a 5mb limitation to the download size (according to some forums)

I would like to create a dummy 30mb file and host it somewhere and then download it to a BlackBerry for eg and see just where it cuts out if any.

Same answer, you can download TO the device, like in installing an application, but I seriously doubt you'll be able to download a file and then copy it off the device.

TO V3G and the Vodacom team, just a quick word of thanks for this service! I have got BB connect loaded onto my Tytn2 with the pre-paid option and its all working great and is a solution to many of the requirements I had for my business, so once again, thank you!
 
Future, and dreams!!!

I was just wondering when we will c the future of software inovation on our data cards, if i look at the amount of times i need to phone V for information for upgrades and updates. Looking at technology i believe this could be done via broadcasts, rss feeds and all these wonderfull things we are all coming used to.

I had to phone in to find out i have to upgrade my software where they could have sent me a feed considering that i block my data card sim for sms messages i never got the message. Oops my fault.

Give us something like MSN on our software and create a vodacom communities, (Corporate, Youngsters, Study Groups) simplicity.

Ip tracker information could be incorporated and hopefully i dont have to continue wondering what sites i accessed.

This personally will help me and hopefully all my friends liking to byte it away.
