New Raspberry Pi releases today

I don't see it listed on their site at all, whats up with that?

R617.72 with delivery from RS. Just ordered one, let's see how long it takes to deliver!

Is it possible to use this for a plex server and torrent download machine?

It can also be used as a way to plex/xbmx player.

Will be connected to 1 or 2 external hardrives and a Plasma screen

Dunno about Plex, but it should work ok with Kodi as a media player/server as long as there's no transcoding required. I used the original RPi for a while as a XBMC server, and later used it as a download machine, running SABNZBd and Sickbeard on it without too many headaches.

The new RPi should be much better at that with a better processor and more memory.

OK I want a raspberry because it will be able to run Windows 10 free.

Question : Do i get the raspberry now and learn how to use it so long - then manually install win10 with whatever method I find out on the webs, or do i wait for it to be released preloaded with Win 10?

Get it now, screw around with it. Don't think they will release one preloaded with Win10

I think Microsoft partners will, but with a price for the unit there is no reasont to wait.

Thanks guys, how difficult do you reckon it will be to install windows 10 when it is released, would it be a download to a flash drive, insert the flash, run something? or is it way more complicated?

I'm keen to see some benchmarks comparing the last B to this model, running Kodi in particular.

A comment on hacker news.

Note: Windows 10 on Pi 2 will be an IoT platform, not a desktop OS.
You'll develop your app in Visual Studio on a Windows PC and deploy it to the Pi.
Raspbian will continue to be the main supported OS.

Ordered a Raspberry Pi and case yesterday (one order). The case was delivered today and it seems like the Pi will only be delivered tomorrow. Weird
