New recent nonsense

I have a Dlink 2740u booster router.

After a hour or two the DSL light blinks fast and then slow - during this time i have no net access.

I switch the router off for 30min then it works then reverts after a hour or so.

Anyone have an idea??

I know from experience that the 2640u is notoriously unreliable, where the device will act as if the firmware is gone and just not boot. This happened with several of the devices where after we stopped using them.

Don't know about the 2740u but I'd suggest getting it swapped out under warranty. If a new one does the same you know it's a design flaw.
