Hi everyone

I need some advice on a new router for the company, our Cisco died on us and we replaced it with another Cisco router that was lying around until we find a replacement.

Anyway we have a Ubiquiti AP that we use in the office so I thought of getting a Ubiquiti router (http://www.geewiz.co.za/edgerouter/...eck&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pricecheck) as well to make it easier to manage using the same software and what not.

Now I was thinking as we will only use this router as a pass through to the Mikrotik that is connected to the Fibre line if it will be able to do that as it has no Cable port. This router will basically just connect our server to the network and allow port forwarding as we have no access to the Mikrotik so can't do it from the fibre router.

Any advice or other options would be greatly appreciated.

if you have the cisco device lying around why not just use it?

Said Cisco device was struck by lightning and has known issues with port forwarding

Went and got the above mentioned router and it is doing what it has to for now.

I think you should go for Asus Asus RT-N66U. It's a good router many websites recommend "Asus Asus RT-N66U"

So for enterprise the best solution is Netgear? Not something like Cisco or the like?
