Any ideas on a new one? I need one since the telscum one died. Needs to have awesome wireless performance! :D

Simples.... Linksys E3000..... Bought mine in the UK - Excellent Router :)

Awesome router indeed. Bought locally from take2 for R1300. Running open source firmware though as I need the USB port to run my 3G modem, so can't comment on stock FW as I have not used it for longer than 10minutes

Had a look at it recently. Very nice, but no DD-WRT support, which is what I was after

Just curious. Whats the advantages of running custom firmware? I didn't even know thats possible on routers.

OpenVPN, 3G via USB, USB printer, bandwidth monitor, throughput monitor and much more. Fine grain control over the router.
Just a note, if you do go with the E3000 and DD-WRT, read the wiki on DD-WRT PROPERLY before attempting the custom FW. You need to flash it with a special build first, then the latest release. Installing stock firmware again is easy, as long as you follow the instructions in the wiki to the point when loading DD-WRT you will be fine

TP-LINK TD-W8960N it's cheap and reliable! Need I say more...

Obviously depending on your needs. I had an Asus WL520G and Belkin N1 vision, which were both great routers, but neither were solid enough for media streaming and I had to constantly reset them. At least once per movie, and surfing the net over wifi whilst streaming would cause the router to crash instantaneously.

OK Seems this little monster now has DD-WRT support! But apart from look and price, it seems there is no major difference between them! Must say, prices at wootware looks really good though!
