Anyone here looking forward to DDoSing their servers if they go live?
Well, if they go live, I am sure their boxes have some big flaws, allowing hackers to break and steal keys to distribute for everyone to watch SABC without "TV license, baba..."

It's not about the streaming, it's about the content (and yes on demand viewing). SABC's target market is not really majorly active in streaming, and SABC's content has little appeal to those already watching Netflix and Showmax and similar. So I really don't see how this will magically solve SABC's problems. Technology does not fix content.

... but I thought Lowdy sold all the content the SABC had to Multichoice?

I would also like to announce my plans to compete with Messi and Ronaldo for the Ballon d'or in 2021

I hope the BBC sues them

It dawned on me a while ago, that we are indeed actually copying the UK model, TV license, policy and all. All recent aggressive policies are policies uses by other nations. Our law makers are plagiarists.

Add lockdown and stages to the list.
