With her family's life in peril, Ellen faces an incomprehensible moral dilemma in order to save her overbearing husband Brian, her secretive daughter Morgan and her not-so-innocent son Jake. In this high-stakes standoff between Ellen and Carlisle, fraught with tremendous national and personal consequences, the choices between right and wrong become even more blurred.

This one may be worth the while... Just premiered last night in the US.

I think that might be skewed somehow... If you check the rating of the actual episode 1, it is over 8.

Despite the story line, the show only opened with about 7 million odd viewers. Stats show that the majority of series decline by 15% in viewer numbers on the second episode.

Also, the channel announced the series as a "Limited Series". So, the chance of a second season is very, very slim. Also, depending on viewer numbers they may cancel the show at any stage and no longer air any episodes.

Looking at the comments here, viewer stats, and depending on the second episode, I wonder if we will see the whole series....

Yep, unfortunately this series is not for the 'Barry Ronge'-taste viewers. These viewers may find the series very dull, uninteresting, away from reality, predictable, bad acting, etc. So yes, give it a skip, I am sure you will not enjoy it.
