'The Blacklist' follows Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader), one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives, as he joins with the FBI, claiming that they can work with one another. When he agrees to cooperate in bringing down dangerous criminals and terrorists, he tells them that he will only speak with Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), a rookie FBI profiler.

As they work together, Keen questions Reddington's motives and Reddington simply feels she is very special. When one terrorist is taken down, Reddington informs them that it is only the beginning. Reddington gives the FBI access to "The Blacklist", a list with known terrorists and criminals the world doesn't know about. With Reddington's help, they work together to eradicate the list.

Created by Jon Bokenkamp, the series also stars: Harry Lennix as FBI Assistant Director Harold Cooper, Diego Klattenhoff as Donald Ressler, Ryan Eggold as Tom Keen, Ilfenesh Hadera as Jennifer Palmer.

Another one that looks great and premiered yesterday.

Will be watching it tonight, hope its good enough to fill the gap left by the Breaking Bad... :D

As much as I am looking forward to watching this today as well, I think it will be some time before we ever get another series that will fill the gap that Breaking Bad is about to leave. Series like Breaking Bad is far and few between.

Watching now. This is a very good series.
Gonna be top of the list, followed by Hostages.

Thanks for the feedback Aquadyne. I want to watch it tonight as well, but don't know if I can wait that long now......

downloading. Promo looks good. thanks again house :)

First episode was already filled with action, suspense and some good plot-twists.

The story baseline has some serious legs on it to ensure that every episode will be phenomenal.

Characters are solid, acting good.
In my opinion, this is going to be the one for the next while.

I'm still working through the other new pilots.

My pleasure Wall :)

Agreed. Just watched the first episode as well. It was simply great!

It has a great story line, the acting, with no exceptions, were great! Again, as with his previous shows, I think James Spader was fantastic!

Also agree that it has a lot of action and suspense and the story deepens!

I just hope that the remainder of the season continues this trend. If it does, I think it will just as good, if not better, than 24!

Watched the pilot just now and I'm in two minds about it.

Good story and fast paced but some of the actors and some of the acting is a bit iffy at times leading to me not 'buying' into the actors i.e. they are not very believable.

Story is okay but at times not very realistic and very jumpy i.e. from the one cliche to the next..... as if trying way to hard to be 'the best' spy type story.....

Will see how the second episode goes. Hostage in my opinion was far better with some strong acting and characters and a very believable story.

Just my 2 cents....

Seems decent, but I got a feeling its gonna start going downhill as the show progresses.

A couple of episodes in, I am still liking this. Maybe liking it even more. Your thoughts?

Enjoying it but we need to see the motives of Redinngton for the story to develop, right now that hasn't been forthcoming.

I hope that Reddington is a complex character with complex motives.
