Any speculation on why Red chose Lizzie specifically? Is it too obvious to assume that he is her dad? If so, why the hell hasn't she thought of it yet? Also, her marriage is about to take some strain, in my humble opinion.

not specifically lizzie but why he is doing what he is doing. why is he helping the FBI? what's his sinister plot?
 
This is an awesome series. On episode 5 already. Really love the actor.

Almost a month later and I still have not watched the 2nd episode. Guess that confirms that I was not that much impressed.

Will watch it tonight and see.

Ah yes, I am staying up to date with this series. It is indeed just getting better by the episode. The intrigue, the suspense, the hidden agendas, everything just keeps growing. I have to admit that the acting is fantastic! This is the next show I will be glued to the TV...
 
Am I the only one who thinks this is a really dumb series? You can almost predict what is going to happen. I find it doesn't challenge me mentally, there is no cleverness to it. I would compare it to predictable and stale series' like Arrow, Castle and the like. It is not in the same league as Dexter, 24, Breaking Bad. Even Hostages is slightly better.

I love it when people expect TV shows to challenge them mentally. Really?

Personally, for me, I want TV shows to allow me to relax and entertain me, it is suppose to be fun. I get challenged enough daily when I go out to learn new things myself that I find interesting or even at work when I need to come up with solutions to complex architectural problems.

It's an elitist response. "I am smarter than that show". If TV doesn't entertain you, read a book, study further, find a cure for some disease or win a Nobel prize. Surely this forum doesn't challenge you mentally either, does it? I'm so over it, already.

I suppose its different strokes and what not....I prefer something that will keep me on the edge, so to speak. Perhaps is helps me come up with solutions to complex engineering problems. I don't get much satisfaction in watching a series that is stale, boring or "relaxing". Again, different strokes...

I was just expecting better from it after I saw the advert on Mnet. I was just disappointed. Needless to say, 3 episodes in, I am no longer watching it. Maybe i will give it a try sometime later, but its "meh" show for me.

If you really, really want to be challenged mentally, switch on DSTV and start watching the Parliamentary Channel.
 
I like the slow buildup of tension every episode between Lizzy and her Hubby.
 
Can't force myself to watch it anymore, next on the chopping block is agents of shield.
