IMO the nature of the service suggests that if person A requests a reverse-charge callback from person B, and if person B trusts person A enough to do this, then person A and person B will know each other sufficiently well enough to know that person B is a contract customer...

Pretty much what I was thinking as well - if you call someone / they call you often, then you are very likely to know which network they are on and whether they are on prepaid or contract.

*140# has the PCM blocking options - but as far as I remember - it's a block all or none.

Yes, the *111# USSD option is for the Reverse Charge service.

*140# is for Please Call Me's. You can block / unblock, etc. (a forum initiative, btw)

I just mentioned this in the other thread, but it would be really nice to be able to have a whitelist rather than a blacklist, since I get wrong numbers from a whole lot of people, who, by definition, I don't have numbers for before hand. Whereas I'll only want to accept call me's and reverse charge calls from a fairly small group of people.

Not to imply that I'm not grateful that blocking was implemented at all - it's great to see that Vodacom does listen to the forumites :)
