Seems Nokia has woken up and released some new software for it's Nokia messaging software.

It looks and works very much like Blackberry's.

If you setup your G-mail account on the Nokia phone (not using normal software, but the software on the phone) it downloads/upgrades it to the 'latest' software.

Give it a try.

Huh explain that again? Whats the software called? Nokia Messaging App? or is it the email setup by the sms?

I bought a Nokia e63 about a month ago, and believe me it was the biggest mistake I've ever made in my life. The fusken fone alarm alert cannot be set to vibration, the clock does not come with stop counter :wtf ? Now I miss my Windows Mobile i900.

Email setup is simple, but it cannot synchronize with folders on my gmail account. I've come to a conclusion, Symbian is $hit

It's called Nokia Messaging.
I know it's been out for a while, but it never worked nicely.
When I say nicely, it didn't work like it does now.
It works very much like Blackberry's software, runs in the background, tells you when you get e-mails etc.

News24; it definately works much better now - give it a try, thus why I posted about it, even I'm happy with it now.
THe only issue I have with it is that it says you can add a max of 10 accounts, but I have tried to add a 2nd Gmail account and won't let me.

S60V3? When you set my alarm tone to "off" is vibrates.... PICNIC?

I use HandyClock as it has a stop watch function. I'm sure there are others available. I'm not aware of any phone that comes with everything.

Nope I've got 3 gmail account linked to my Nokia messaging which I've been using for over a year now and it still works the same as day 1 as far as I'm concerned...
