a novembology? a trilogy squared?
 
If they branch out far enough this could be pretty cool!

The good news is that if they are suddenly willing to make this announcement, they must have been really impressed with the final result of Last Jedi!

Lol, maybe by now they should stop calling it trology then.. maybe its more of an open ended series of feature length episodes and some spin-offs.

More entertainment is mostly a good thing.
I just get bored with stuff like this though, how everyone`s so damn invulnerable between their plot armor, impossible luck and ninja skills.
 
A new trilogy, hey? Well, if they want to pretend the prequels never happened, and do justice to that storyline, I don't think anyone will complain too loudly. I wonder how they are going to time this... episode IX won't be out until probably 2019, which means the first of Johnson's films might land around 2020, I guess. Gives them plenty of time to flesh out a unique story, which I kind of wish they had done with episode VII, instead of just grab-bagging the plot from Star Wars.
 
Would be awesome if they do a trilogy of films set in the time of the Old Republic, or even during the first Sith Lords like Naga Sadow, Marka Ragnos and Tulak Hord. Or have a look at the time of Darth Bane when he introduced the Rule of Two.
