There are Amazon MGM Studios shows that I like, but there is IP that they haven't originally adapted to TV that is being molded into something else. I liked Stargate, and I hope that they will treat this IP with the respect that it deserves.

Also, Apple does so much better at certain genres than Amazon.

No idea how many times I've rewatched Stargate. Currently on season 4 and always watch it in this order.

They need to give Universe a proper ending.

problem is for those of us who started from Universe, or Atlantis, and wanted to know what happened then,
I mean I was a hardcore fan of Universe and it ended very badly for me.

The problem then is people won't be happy with how they end it. Imo this is the best decision they could make. Also glad they had the gateworld crew there...shows they actually care a bit.

fair point, but then it leaves open the entire universe to speculation, meaning we that were fans of the originals will start asking
how could they possibly start this new series off without alienating the original fan-base.

This, I liked the harsher tone of SGU. But also fatigued by SG and SGA by then.

Was very happy to see the original guys involved and it not being a full reboot.

They've honestly done great work on every one of the shows so let's hope they can continue the trend.
