First time as wellThat was weird. First time I have ever seen a hardware error message like that, and there was a signal. I am happy that the new GPU is working.

You could do the front panel, fans and such while you wait for their power supply.Only PSU to go as the lady arrived today.
Yes, I know system should be wired up first but wanted to see what things will look like.
Yes, I have wired those up since. You could do the front panel, fans and such while you wait for their power supply.
With that cooler, you may struggle with the cpu power at the top (i know I've got that exact cooler)
Would be nice, to know the specs you intend to power the sun withOnly PSU to go as the lady arrived today.

Lol yip your upgrade makes mine look like a peasant.9950X3D
64GB 6000Mhz CL30 mem
RTX 5080
1000W ATX 3.1 Superflower Cybenetics Platinum
2TB Gen 5 nvme
I don't upgrade every few years like most though. Tend to keep PCs for a decade or so.
Might have a mid cycle GPU upgrade.
That looks nice. I don't care much for cable management either.pretty happy with my build.....I am seriously considering going all white....lol. it is just that pretty, but pricey.....sigh....And no don't care much for the cable management....lol. Mostly because the cables being shorter than expect on the corsair CX750. I couldn't route all cable round the back

Was going to just slog it out with iGPU until Super series but decided I might die in that time and what a waste that would beLol yip your upgrade makes mine look like a peasant.
Intel corei 5 14400
32gig ddr 5 42 cl
MSI PRO B760M-E
corsair CX750
kingston 480gig SSD
Still rocking a 1660, that is next on the agenda
On the farm as well. So dust is a mission lolThat looks nice. I don't care much for cable management either.
To me it's an all purpose tool I can tinker with. I live in a dusty area on small holding so white would be a no go for me even though it looks nice.
yeah I went with the cheapest decent CPU, will get a secondhand CPU next year. Was going to just slog it out with iGPU until Super series but decided I might die in that time and what a waste that would be.
Very nearly went with 9070XT because I wanted to try SteamOS but I also use things like Davinci so green it was.

Why water-cooled on the 5600x? I don't think that mine has ever hit 70 degrees...So, not exactly a 'build' as I bought it like this, but I picked this up earlier this week:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Powercolor Red Devil RX 6700XT
16GB DDR4-3600C16
NZXT Kraken X53 240mm AIO
MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI
Cooler Master V850 SFX PSU
6x Scythe Kaze 120mm PWM fans
Sabrent Rocket 4.0 500GB NVMe and I added an Intel some-or-another 512GB NVMe for storage
All built inside a Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini case. Feels good to be back with the PCMR![]()
With a stock cooler, they run quite hot. Mine would be 65 idle and 80 or so while gaming on a hot day, but with water cooling (280mm radiator), it doesn't go over 55 while gaming and 35 on idle on a hot dayWhy water-cooled on the 5600x? I don't think that mine has ever hit 70 degrees...
Jikes. Mine idles at about 42 degrees in mid-summer in Pretoria, but I don't use the stock. I use a twin-fan CoolerMaster towerWith a stock cooler, they run quite hot. What? Mine never cracked over 65 with the stock air cooler. With a stock cooler, they run quite hot. Mine would be 65 idle and 80 or so while gaming on a hot day, but with water cooling (280mm radiator), it doesn't go over 55 while gaming and 35 on idle on a hot day
Yes, at the time I think it was 1x 120mm in the front (intake) 1x 120mm at the top (exhaust) and 1x 120mm rear (exhaust). This was with the pre-applied TPWhat? Mine never cracked over 65 with the stock air cooler.
Other fans in the case?
Odd, though 80 isn't an issue anyway. Think my old 2060 super used to hit 85 degrees though.Yes, at the time I think it was 1x 120mm in the front (intake) 1x 120mm at the top (exhaust) and 1x 120mm rear (exhaust). This was with the pre-applied TP
