New to adsl

Hi guys. It's been a while since i posted on this forum. A lot has happened since 2006. Well I just got myself telkom adsl and am trying to get to grips with all the jargon like capped uncapped, blended local international and such.....so please excuse an y stupid questions i may have that I cant find after searching

Well currently i am having smtp issues and telkom is not very helpfull. I am sure i will get it though...thanks guys

Howzit bud. I did try that but when i try to send the message it says mail sending failed. When i call telkom about it they sound dumbfounded when i tell them i am using thunderbird...then they are altogether lost. It's strange cause i change smtp all the time when i switch from dial up to 3g and it works fine. When i try telkom it fails.....really wierd.

try http://newmail.telkomsa.net to check if your username and password is correct

N.B. you can use ur telkom email address as a username not that yaky online3232....

also what is the error code then do a google search on that code
