Well at the moment I only have one line coming into my house for the ISDN. That line comes into my room, and then directly into my ISDN 2a box. Then one cable goes from the ISDN box to my ISDN modem, and then a normal extended telephone wire goes from the ISDN box into the roof all the way to the office into the fax machine.
So I'm wondering if the micro-filter splits the main Telkom line into a normal telephone line and ADSL line? Or if when Telkom install the line, installs the splitter on the wall to and then I have on cable going from the wall to the ADSL modem and then another cable which I attach to a micro-filter, which then connects to that extended cable which runs through the roof to the fax machine.
