Hi,

They are currently installing fibre in my area (only a year later than was advertised), I see many ISP's offer a free router, but all the routers seem to have ethernet limited to 100mbps, anyone know of an isp that provides a router with 1000mbps, or is it better just to purchase your own router?

You're probably better off buying your own. There are a few router threads here. I can't say I was terribly impressed with the "free router" offerings of any of my local ISPs on Octotel, so when I get around to signing I will stick to using the one I've already got.

Some of them allow you to upgrade to a better router at an additional cost.
I had an old Netgear N750 lying around and that seems to be working perfectly.
