New Twitter rules

Twitter says it’s handing down new rules to control abusive language after several high-profile British women reported receiving a flood of nasty, harassing, or threatening messages on the microblogging site.

..Like don't understand these people. Twitter is basically the wild west. I'm not saying they deserved it but its not like you didn't know that kind of abusive existed on the platforms .The same goes if u upload a video on youtube.The exact same abusive nature exists. Ranging from racism,sexism,homophobia etc.If you can't handle it then don't use it.(Ha I can imagine the amount abuse people like justin bieber and kanye west get on a daily basis alone...smh)

How is that an excuse? Imagine you went into a local shop and every time you went in there you were treated to racial slurs and threats of violence. Would "just go to a different shop" be an acceptable solution?

These rules won't have to do with negative comments but for the small percentage of truly vile and scary threats.
