seems that there is a magical floor limit of 50kB/s or 100kB/s for 4 meg uncapped on certain "new uncapped" as that's been my max for a few days now running. anyone experiencing the same thing ?

update:
for those like killadoob.... take note this is not a ****ing guessing game as to what isp. it is simply as i said in in the above: are you experience the same thing.

if you're with Mweb ... it seems their network is giving some nasty issues again tonight. I really am starting to wonder what's going on over at Mweb HQ.

non mweb, supposed the true uncapped as this is not as Is's per gig uncapped.

Dude are you seriously asking people to guess your uncapped solution and give their opinion?

What is your isp and why are feeling the need to hide it?

Yes necuno the uncapped people i am with are a lot faster, i have 2 uncapped accounts from certain places and no this never happens on them.

So come guess which ones they are. 3 strikes and i won't tell you.

I can tell you it starts with a S

What is the question? Are people experiencing issues on their uncapped accounts, excluding those people on "download-up-to-this-many-and-we'll-halve-your-rate"?

o jesus i give up. nm ill not ask again. too many "bright sparks", but thanks for trying.

Some things are shaped more than others, Torrents, Newsgroup (Usenet), and Rapidshare will all give you slower shaped speeds(like you said 100kbs or less) depending on the time of the day and how bad your isp is shaping you.

There are ways around this if you do some digging, for instance using other less popular sites instead of Rapidshare results in full speed most of the time, also I've been experimenting running trough a remote vpn and that gives far faster speeds(GOOGLE), you'll have to do some experimentation and find out what works the best for you, cant really help considering the fact that you dont want to share what isp your running so good luck with that...

I'll answer your question if you can answer mine:

I've got a car, and lately it's been running slowly, are you experiencing the same thing? :D

Answer to your question, nope, not experiencing what you are.

To answer your question yes, it is slow and getting about 100KB/s speeds on legitimate sources.

Does the op realize that not all uncapped accounts from all isps are the same and that if the one is giving issues the others may not and thats why stating your isp is important?

yes slow and terrible....

I can only imagine how some of the people in this forum would act in a real room full of people....

Axxess uncapped (used at my office) is unbearably slow. Haven't had any problems at home on my Mweb account.
