New Vodacom 3G options?

I noticed this morning that Vodacom now has a new section for data bundles from their *111# USSD: Broadband Daily
It's insanely cheap compared (R20 for 50MB) and while I'm quite impressed, I'm also sceptical. I smell a catch (Like 2G-only bandwidth) or something.
Can anyone clear this up for me? I don't wanna buy 50MB's worth of 2G for that price, so it'd be useful to know. =P

Interesting development! R20 for 50MB is significantly cheaper than the current rate. The "daily" part makes me think it is possibly only valid for one day though.

The Broadband daily service is not yet launched , no launch date set yet.
 
Thanks for the clearup. Is there a way that I can be notified when the service launches? Depending on what the specifics are, it may be something many users are interested in, myself included, so it would be nice to know when it can be used.

As soon as i have more info i will post it here.I currently have no clue what it entails.
 
I tried to purchase 10MB for R5 but I receive the following error:

"Your Data Bundle purchase was unsuccessful as you have selected an invalid bundle size.Broadband Daily is only available in 10MB and 50MB bundles."

Trust Vodacom to add something to their menu which is not not yet launched:erm:

Not ideal, but slightly better than when they launched the original Night Owl special on the 1GB Broadband Advanced package that nobody could buy!

What other new data prices did you notice? 100mb , 1gig?
