New voice data device

Brilliant indeed

I happen to be one of the few who piloted this cell recording software product for personal use. Spescom is sitting on a winner here. It turns your cell into a mobile phone call recorder, using unbelievable compression to keep file sizes down. It asks whether you want to keep or delete a recording after each call (incoming or outgoing). If you choose to keep it it writes the audio file to your phone, but it doesn't stop there. You are able to choose the frequency of upload to a storage and recording management server, allowing you to manage and play back recordings from anywhere in the world. It works. Large companies with many cell users may want to roll this out so that business conducted over the mobile is now "on record" so to speak.
