Oh please. There's no good reason to move around a 2k+ console that is switched ON and with a disc SPINNING.

MS should leave it. Anyone who do this deserves to get their game pwned and worse.

MS tried desperately to fix this issue but Nintendo and Sony have already patented the methods required.

I doubt that. Optical drives clamp the disc to spin it. Possible reasons why it happens less on the PS3 are likely to be increased scratch resistance of blu-rays and a lower rotational speed. But the PS3 can scratch the disc if you move it around while the disc is spinning. Basically there is no good reason to move a console while it is in operation.
