NewCo fibre

Howzit, I've been very happy.

1. Speeds are consistent.
2. The WAN IP address is static.
3. Wi-Fi coverage is great on the Ubiquity router/Access Point they provide.

I have a 20Mb line. I just did a test to Mybroadband servers in Teraco now:

Ping - 3ms
Download - 19.60Mbps
Upload - 19.99Mbps

If I were to try and find fault:
1. I'd say their support team is 'thin'. There's one lady who handled all my concerns.
2. I have no access to the router/AP.
Which area if i may ask?

Linteg are also trenching here in Sedgefield. They've done a couple of estates already, though haven't gone live yet. But it looks like Herotel are also busy in the village.
I'm waiting for some sort of announcement from either / both of them. Nothing yet...

I'm in Sedgefield as well. Just seen a letter from them (on FB) saying they are open for pre-orders.

How's is the Herotel deployment going in Sedgefield? I see Octotel also busy there.

Im struggling to understand why someone would go for Octo if Hero is R499 for 50Mbps?

Rather slowly....
But, we live in hope...

Hi,
Any new feedback on NewCo?

I am moving into a complex that has Linteg coverage.
Would have preferred CISP but their pricing on Linteg is quite a bit more expensive.
