NNTP, network news or UseNet provider. I prefer Astraweb. Never been to Newshost.

The website for newshost is working just fine.
Are you talking about the SAIX NNTP server?

They've added ads from an international server which stalled my page load on an local only account. You can block the ad site in your hosts file.

Bah. Should've tried this before, just didn't occur to me.

Works fine in FF.. but in Chrome it doesn't exist. Really odd problem.

Re-install your chrome again mate or your chrome has lost some of java settings.
I m also using Newshost and its working fine in chrome too.
