Yes but at the moment there is so many people downloading from the servers that you cant get a connection, and you can only get one, once someone stops downloading... And take there spot... Think the invite is to try and stop that but it wont really work :)

Ofcourse you know how to download via the News servers?

Hi everyone, I'm also in the position where I have 10 GB local cap en can't use it. What do I have to do to become a member of Newshost (or whatever site is available). Please please!!!:o

If you took the time to look around (say... at the thread right above this one)... then you would know that the invites to Newshost are closed. :mad:
 
ag the only impression ive EVER had of people who access through newshost is that they are greedy m#$#$%3ers. the whole 'ive got the power to invite you' is so damn childish...
so chilidish that to a certain point id rather throw money at Telkom and buy more International than try and beg and grovel for local.I have 3 friends who can download anything for me and they always telling me how great local is and bla bla bla.i dont want to have to be invited and beg someone for an invite.i just want to simply open my browser and download what i can..... the whole process just frustrates me.i really pray it becomes easier to use the local someday.its all so secretive and 'who you know'..i hate that bull

um, if you took the time to read the posts in this thread and others, you would see that...

THERE ARE NO INVITES TO NEWSHOST, NONE, NADA, NIL. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET AN INVITE TO NEWSHOST. NOBODY HAS ONE!!!!!!

So I guess your little diatribe here is kind of on the pointless side. :rolleyes:

Then you don't need to download anything in the first place. Just get those 3 mates to get it for you. No problem then in the first place.
