Nexus 7 (2013)

Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone can explain why the new nexus 7 is not available in sa.

I have asked places like takealot and Kalahari,
they say there supplies are not stocking it yet

I have asked Asus.
They gave me a generic answer, (like they don't actually know)

Is it simply because there is to much old stock in South Africa,or that the Demand in countries where it does sell is to high for then to add more countries.

I hate the fact that by the time i can actually get what i want, its already months old

The Tag [USA Import] means its not distributed locally.
meaning people like MTN/Vodacom or Incredible connection don't offer data contracts.
o and extra Import Taxes that could be avoided

No, that's Expansys pricing. Clearly the people running that place are criminals.

I would also get it either from wootware or orange store. I can vouch for the Orange ZA store, bought a phone there, and everything went just perfect. The only hiccup was that it got stuck in CPT customs for a week or so, but that was no surprise, because that department is also run by the laziest of scumbags they could pick up off the street.
