Nexus One in Sa

Hi All,

I have the opportunity to get a Nexus one from the US.
I had a look at see if it will work in SA, but it seems that similar to the iPhone you have to activate it, but it says that it is not available in your country.
Has anyone received one and were you able to activate it. According to what I have read up it will work on our network, the only requirement is that it be a GSM and 3G network.

Spoke to a friend in vodacom, they bringing the nexus one into the country in March for testing, may be released soon after. Try hold out perhaps?

One of our companies owners (I do all his IT at home as well) likes to have the newest tech available, so he is buying 2 in the US, one for him and one for me so I can show him how to use it....just had to make sure that it will work here.
