Hi NFS gamers... Seems to be struggling to configure two PCs for NFSMW. I can create a server on 1 PC & let the other see it. Join the server (probably not appropriately) from both PCs, get to a stage where i can change car & chat. I kinda get stuck here cause the second PC would not see the same server/game name. I also tried chatting, non of the PCs sees/communicates messages from either of the PCs. There's a done button but it takes me back to quitting LAN anyway. Oh! why would the other PC ask for name after pressing join? shouldn't it joing the existing created name? .. too many question, i think i'm missing something here

Let me explain my problem even better. I'm convinced my network connection is not a problem because after creating a server on 1 PC, the second PC can search for available server and sees the created server name. Actually the problem begins when i click the button join on the second PC. Instead of just joining it asks for name. When i type the existing server it complains that it's already existing. After creating a different name it goes through. But now i have two different servers isn't it? When it searches for GAME then it gives a 'no suitable matches or players could be found' message. I would understand this cause there are two servers anyway. Hope this is clear and has easier solutions....

ok... here's some sound advise, if it doesn't work for no reason then F%$^ IT UP so that way it's got an excuse to be broken. so what in trying to say is, if it's not broke then don't fix it and if it don't work then break it. so i think you should get a hammer and beat the living **** out of computer 2.
good day,

i had the same problem with tocaexactly the same problem.I did fix it but i cannot remember.
I think it had something to do with the settings of the lan card and the ipconfig
I really cannot remember but tommorrow i will ask my friend what we did as this was a long time ago

Any ideas what the following means?

Need For Speed: Most Wanted uses the following TCP and UDP ports for Internet play:

* 80 (TCP)
* 13505 (TCP)
* 30900-30999 (TCP range, all ports in this range will need to be opened)
* 3658 (UDP)

Is this the same for LAN play?
