Happy ? Combined with the Gainward thread, understatement of the ^%$ing year ! Now to find someone to drive my family to the coast on the 8th and drive them back on the 27th :D /me off to the "Skiils & Employment" forum.....

After many hours of searching for black edition i think im just gonna dwnload it, its there fault that they do not distribute it properly

well... i made it specific that its coming along... i dont moan when she takes 4 suitcases of clothes for 4 days... :p

Can any one help, i got the game, but when i try to install it says that i need Directx 9c to continue, but i got Directx 9c already, i installed the one on the cd adn still no luck.
HELP PLZ
 
I can only hope this helps,googled it up:

1.With CD 1 in the disk drive, open My Computer.
2.Right-click your CD drive and choose Explore.
3.Right-click Autorun.exe and choose Properties.
4.Select the Compatibility tab.
5.Click once in the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for:
6.Select Windows 2000 from the drop down menu.
7.Apply changes.

Once you have set Autorun.exe to run in Windows 2000 mode, double-click Autorun.exe and the installation will start. Follow the instructions given and the game will install properly.
 
From some googling :
This issue may occur if the Dxxpunp.inf file is present in your computer. The Dxxpunp.inf file is a DirectX debug component that contains a reference to the D3dref8.dll file. The Dxxpunp.inf file is located in the %SystemRoot%\System32\Dxxpdbg folder that contains all the DirectX debug components.

1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd.exe, and then click OK.
2. At the command prompt, type cd %SystemRoot%\system32\dxxpdbg, and then press ENTER.

Note In this command, %SystemRoot% represents the folder that contains the operating system files.
3. At the command prompt, type dxxpunp.exe, and then press ENTER.
4. At the command prompt, type exit, and then press ENTER to close the command prompt.

Maybe worth a try, if the W2K fix doesn't help
 
I had the same problem Michael, with my warcraft.

All I did was reinstall my graphics card drivers and was sorted after that.

Nvidia 81.94 btw.
 
What is the use of that function (cant remember the name) Right alt, that slows down everything?
