Another interesting fact: Only 205 MP's out of 400 voted FOR the NHI bill in Parliament (ANC has 230 seats). So that is a very slim 5 seat majority. If they get <50% then it is possible to undo the NHI bill.

Anyone who is seriously concerned about the NHI is ascribing a lot more competence to the ANC than what is due.

It is dangerous even in the hands of utter retards like the ANC. Even the perceptions of it are dangerous.

For one thing, it substantially increases the risk of investment in healthcare in a country that desperately needs it.

Plonking down a R10m MRI machine in a hospital is a serious decision even without the risk of having some communist in Pretoria saying you can only charge R200 for a scan.
