Night OWL - not anymore?

Sajunky having had a look at the various Data offerings on VC website and the Terms and Conditions of each product, I would concur with your view that the Night Owl has been removed.
1) Broadband Data = Contract opened ended with or without device has Night Owl with the exception of Top Up.
2) Smartphone/Mobile Internet bundles for your voice contract and Top Up Once Off/Monthly reoccurring No Night Owl
3) Prepaid Data Once Off/Monthly reoccurring - No Night Owl
The reason for removing Night Owl is unclear at present.

Really? Tell us how did you get to this conclusion about my view. Step by step please. Or read all posts again and again, unless you are complete idiot, you will understand my view.

Update:
Picture says all. Yesterday there was no Night Owl, today is...
The best network in South Africa. No other network threat their customers in such deceiptive way.

Yes. The once off bundles dont have night owl, but their price did have a substantial drop a while ago. 3G contracts (no top up) still has the night owl as per normal.

Vodacom don't give a hoot about their customers.

Threat? Was most likely a system glitch.
This system glitch regularly comes back from the beginning of May. I don't believe they are unable to send properly formatted SMS's. It is intentional deception aimed for OOB sharks.

I have never liked the SMS thing. Sometimes beginning of the month the SMS's are not right. Customers get sent a message to tell them that their bundles are depleted, but the new bundle that was issued start of the month hardly touched when I look at it on the system. This normally happens start of the month when bill run is still going.

However, I dont see how that would lead to OOB? If the night owl is not showing then that would not lead the customer to think he has got more data than what he actually has got. Or am I not understanding you correctly? Also, what does it say when you log into the Vodacom App?

Thats a point - how. Very simple. Normally SMS returns "Data Bundle' and it is correct figure. The other time SMS returns with "Data Bundle: xxxx", but it is not your Data Bundle, but with Night OWL inclussive - it is misleading.

By example someone has 500MB data and 500MB Night OWL remaining. SMS will indicate 1000MB "Data Bundle" in such case. If customer use 800MB, it will be charged 300MB OOB.
Study pictures posted by myself and badtrev you will see it is a case indeed. This is how Vodacom cheat customers.

Oh. I see what you mean.

And does this happen on the Vodacom app also?

I never used Vodacom app. LTE Router is my gateway, not a smartphone. USSD *111# opt 2 (detailed) brings correct value, but router doesn't do USSD. Before I learned this, my line had been locked up and I was not able to access remaining Night OWL. Vodacom never admit that there is something wrong on their side, not to mention compensate loses.

Perhaps then rather log in on the actual website and check your values there if the SMS is not accurate always.

Use word "not accurate" is not appropriate. It is totally wrong and misleading. However point is taken. I can't use Website as I am not account holder and haven't been given login details, perhaps for security reason. So I am stuck with SMS and I wonder why with leading network I have to stop my connection and move SIM to the phone everytime I want reliable stats.
This case is aleady 3 months old and Vodacom don't respond, while there are company moles, frustrated at times and show up occassionally for distraction.
