Thanks for the reply - when I get there it says "This option is not available at current settings or in the camera's current state"Probably the same as mine - in the shooting menu - ISO sensitivity settings - auto iso on/off
Grrrrrr.Doesn't make sense...... with auto ISO off or on... i can go to m/a/s or p & access it in the menu to turn it off or on.
Your not sitting in Auto cos it won't let you at it then?

I've currently got it set on Aperture priority and I have to manually set the ISO.
with "i" pressed its not showing "ISO A" in the ISO dial? never mind what it says below
Menu/shooting menu/ISO sensitivity settings/Auto ISO sensitivity control - turn it on there, not the tab above it as that will give you the error you posted before.
