Nimbuzz Beta

Been using it for a few weeks now, not too bad except that (contrary to the claim) voice doesn't seem to be carried over data, but GSM. The msn, google etc. gateways work fine though.
 
Hi there, I find it interesting that you interpret our offer as claiming that we are offering VoIP because we clearly state on our homepage:

"Global calls without international tariffs
Now make global calls from your mobile and only pay your cheapest local rate. No credits needed." and "Just pay your cheapest local rate to your provider."

We are working very hard on the VoIP version, but we think that the quality of similar services offered by fring for example is to poor to offer.

We do now have skype working on the mobile beta client and we will publish more new functions soon.

so if we get charged normal local call rate's, how does nimbuzz make money.
 
Doesn't work on my Motorola V550.. the app starts up but doesn't respond to any button presses.. weird.. the gmail phone app does exactly the same thing - must be some kind of firmware bug..
 
Been using Nimbuzz for a while now.
Does some funky stuff to my Nokia 6230i. ie: When I quit, it actually reboots the phone :/
Other than that... its cool!
