Nintendo Wii pricing explained

The same b***** that screw us over so royaly with Apple products... Vrot to the Core...

Oh well, I guess you have to hand it to them, take shiny things and sell them to fashion victims with more money than sense.

Isn't the XBox arcade a lot cheaper in South Africa and pretty much does what the Wii can do with better graphics and more "real" games?
You can get an Arcade for R1800. Much better value than a Wii.

As was demonstrated with the TomTom GPS, the Core Group only seem capable of competing in monopoly markets. As soon as they have some competition their business model falls apart.

Give them a few months and they come up with some lame excuse why they're no longer going to be selling the Wii anymore.

Well it is R3199 at Kalahari if anyone wants to pick one up...

What? a Snes with motion detection? bah....not for that price...and that's just the BASE model with the so called "Sports pack", which is a demo in my opinion. No ethernet connection (I think that is correct). Plus if you add up the extra's, like another controller and nunchuks (?) and a proper game, it runs into R4500...more than a xbox elite and close to PS3 territory.. If the Wii was cheaper and i mean way cheaper..yes..I'd consider it. Value for money wise....I don't think the Wii matches the other two. It is in a word overpriced, but strangely not outpriced in the market.

Where was I? Oh yeah....F^^K Core...bastardo's
