NMB: No more loadsheding

There was no loadshedding yesterday, and today received WhatsApp message:

Ladies and Gentlemen, good afternoon
It is with great pleasure to announce that load shedding should be on pause for the next few days or so
The NMBM and its employees of Electricity and Energy are not seeing eye to eye with regards to something I'm not gonna dwell in
Therefore the employees have down tools starting today, until this matter in question is resolved
No load shedding
No fixing faults
No nothing is gonna be done by Electricity and Energy
I'm not sure about the other Directorates
I work and Electricity
So I'm 100% sure about that

So, NMB will instead be permanently switched off at some point when these wonderful employees start reverse fixing the power system when their demands aren't met?

This is what I can’t help wondering. We will all have to take up the slack caused by this nonsense. A bit like in the past when Ekurhuleni couldn’t get their act together to actually implement load shedding.

Ekurhuleni got "helped" by Eskom, but they did enjoy a long period of no load shedding.

Nelson Mandela Bay skipped load-shedding on Tuesday and Wednesday when workers went on a go-slow due to a labour dispute concerning a scarce skills allowance in metro’s energy and electricity department.

Yes, from what I understand, you get the opportunity to shed X amount of load OR get cut off the grid.
