No Cell C on old phone !!

No Matter where I am when I do a scan I only pick up MTN or Vodacom. So the whole time this phone says I'm roaming on Vodacom when using a cell C sim!

This is a Dual band phone. Doesn't CellC use 900mhz or 1800mhz ??

Motorola international 8700 +/- 1996. Anyone at CellC care to answer WTF is going on and why?

Cell-C use 900MHz for 3G (UMTS) and 1800MHz for 2G (GSM).

Aah ok. Thanks for that. It was the 8900 that was dual band, not the 8700.
