Got my iPhone 5 on the 28 Dec and everything was not to bad until last week. I have two issues with the phone/CellC.
1) The data connection to enable all the push notifications and browsing hardly ever works. I noticed last week, after being back at work that my Whatsapp messages came through very late or did not go through. After extensive testing and time calling the help centre, nothing has helped. No connection to data services even though I have full signal and the 3G sign on the phone. Checked, and rechecked my APN settings and they are set to "internet" as per call centre. Weirdest thing is that when I am calling 140, I can browse the internet, the minute I disconnect, no more internet. What is the point of having a 500MB data bundle if you cannot use it.
2) The wifi connection works on and off. My Speedtest results indicate good connection, 8Mbps download and 1Mbps upload on my 10Mbps ADSL line (always). But when I stream a video in HD or SD, they run for a 1 minute and then buffer and do not play any further. Read up extensively and this seems to be an IOS 6.02 update issue on some iPhones. Can anyone else confirm (CellC or other members).
Will PM CellC rep now to assist.
