No color through AV reciever

marco79, the Xbox's original cables should give you both component & composite outputs. The cable splits into 2 sets of three cables, composite (yellow, plus white/red audio) and component (red, green and blue).

The cable I received with my Jaspar Arcade unit only has composite cables at the end.

Can I get a S-Video cable to connect to the TV from the Xbox?

I'm not sure exactly how the Xbox connects, as I've never had one, but it makes sense if it came with a component cable (Red/Green/Blue RCA plugs) similar to the pics above - plug into the back of the TV in the Y/Pb/Pr inputs, and the sound (Red/White RCA) to the audio in - you may have to move the amp-to-TV input to the side AV IN2 and connect the Xbox audio to the Input 2 at the back of the TV.
Just make sure you have the correct Red RCA for the audio and the video.

For now I'm going to change the DSTV connection to my TV from composite to RF and use AV1 for the Xbox. This will be the cheapest option. I can get the component cables for the Xbox at a later stage.

I've changed the connection from the Dstv to the tv from composite to RF in order to free up a AV input for the Xbox.

Now I'm not getting any sound from the left speaker when playing through the amp. When playing the DVD player through the amp then everything is fine.

This is getting irritating, whenever I get a solution to a problem then another problen comes up.
