I have no access via SAIX - not connecting PPoE - wonder if its a line problem at my house. Worked fine this morning though and we did not have a storm today.
running off NeoTel atm. Webafrica also dead. Modem's adsl light is connecting though but not getting an IP from telkom.

The adsl light goes on - using it in bridge mode via a wireless router - will give them a call to test the line - think it might be that - a lot of humming on the telephone.

Also having issues. Both Mweb and Afrihost. Can't access some international sites couldn't access mybb for a while also.

Any update for Saix? They still trying to fix the tractor to run the generator?

My downloads seem to be fine atm. Averaging at about 35kbps on 384 line. My latency is still horrible though in online games though. Sigh

Phoned them to test my line today - said it was working fine. When I came home, plugged it in again and all working fine now - Funny that webafrica also had problems - I thought they were on their own network and not saix

International latency is still very high, mine has doubled since this fiasco.

Is maintenance still underway?

Telkom has advised that power reconfiguration was unsuccessful.

Telkom will confirm a new maintenance date tomorrow afternoon after consultation with SAT3 devices product specialists, Alcatel.
