No load-shedding expected this weekend

No load shedding for me. Ever. Call it a presidential pardon if you like

None expected for the weekend... sooo.. stage 2 then?

Go get R3 Billion back from the SABC, because we can't watch TV with no power. Go get R1-2B back from Denel, because why fund weapons for other countries. Go get R20B back from SAA, because who the **** wants to fly SAA anyway.

I could go on.

Why is there not money for Electricity and Water infrastructure, but plenty for all this other bullshit.
The problem is not Money if Johannesburg mayor is to believed Apparently if Eskom would let him he would buy power from independent power sources If you have a decent laptop you should be able to watch TV series

Strange that we were told there would be no load shedding but now that they want an increase or the increase that wanted is not forthcoming we now have load shedding and one of the main reason is that they lack the funds for maintenance. Then why don't they get the money from Sowetu and defaulting municipalities which runs into billions of Rands. Also don't penalise those that pay but rather those that don't pay. Eskom is holding the community to ransom

I did not realise that the failing units at Medupi were as old as the Apartheid era power stations.
