No Load Shedding Only rolling blackouts

Have to give credit where it's due and the PE electricity dept certainly deserve it for working into the wee hours to fix a local fault last Friday.

Power went off around 10:00 on Friday and was restored at 02:00 on Saturday - I really thought they'd packed in for the day Friday evening as there had been a couple of false starts and then nothing but they were obviously still hard at work :)

Durban Electricity have done similar recently(ish)...

Had load shedding that finished at 10pm... the lil fekkers stole the cables inside the street distribution unit during loadshedding. 30 minutes after loadshedding finished, the guys were there and worked until around 3am replacing all the cables...

If you are part of 2A(old 8B) you'd know what I'm talking about...

If you're fed by the Montgomery Park substation, that's probably why. It's been buggered since it burst into flames for the first time, what, almost a year ago.
