No Man's Sky

General question. It is a no mans sky thread right?
I guess, but it depends, for a lot of people no, but than again some people can't go past the 10 hour AAA experience :-).
It depends if you like survival games at all.

I think it depends on interactions. I get bored if there are no mechanics or enough interaction in the game.. Such as running for hours and just repeat the same action, boring.

Well there is base building, freighters, ships, planet exploring, a bit of combat here or there, protecting settlements. There can be moments of just running but it's not for hours, as you can find something to do, like scavenge an old derelict freighter.

Not newly wed. :p
:P ok makes sense, think my wife is clocking in quite some hours into minecraft lately, though Xbox seems to have reset some states, my 300 hours on Diablo 3 are now 1 :-(

I was at the Anomaly and some rando gave me 5 items worth 50mil each.
This is a HUGE boost to my money (I only had like 11mil). Not sure how I feel about it. Takes away the sense of earning stuff now

That randomly happened to me in Diablo 3, guy randomly jumped into my game, dropped a whole bunch of stuff and left. Was worth quite a lot

I'd feel the same, I kinda like the slog. Now you can work on ways to turn some of that money into nanites (ship scrapping, buying larval/hadal cores in outlaw systems etc). I started the expedition, really enjoying the new start and applying everything I now know about the game!

Did that back in Borderland 2 days...

Had a custom map of just crates, open em, look for what I want, then dump the rest in some random's session.
Was fun looking at em run for the loot.

Edit: You can almost bet, if someone dumps stock in your game it means he did not get them "properly"

I've been looking for a legit way to make nanites - turns out farming sentinels is the business: made around 45K in an hour or so of farming salvaged glass.

I've been farming salvaged glass for the forbidden modules. Are you selling them for the nanites or is there some other trick I need to know?
