No Man's Sky

I think it's because they make us do the end game story to get the atlantid drive. There were a few special materials I couldn't bring across either but everything else was as normal and you can take it back with you.
Aah that would make sense :-).

755 hours in
I have a Sentinel S-class starship, but my Freighter is class A.
Same, but far less hours, a lot of your hours are probably before the Sentinel and such.

Did one as a test, didn't complete it. I will be soon.
I love them! Fun to play with friends but also worthwhile doing on your own and you get nice rewards like ships and multi-tools! Also for the current one I got to see the purple systems that I can't yet access in my main game so that was cool.

There seems to be some annoying glitches after this patch. On pc this black that creeps over when you're opening boxes or using consoles. General glitch on moon is if you go further than 20u under water it shoots me back to the surface.
Plus performance feels more stuttery
New patch that includes:
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to pop to the surface while swimming on moons.

First ever expedition done! Took me 4 days and I HATED the water stuff, lol but otherwise just went in blind and got through
Nicely done, I've not played in 2 days. The freaking moon thing threw me off, but it's apparently been fixed so will get back to it :)

Well done on your first expedition! Why did you hate the water stuff? I don't really love the underwater and the new greater depths with diving into the dark and murky depths is not my fave. Maybe shouldn't have bought the Subnautica games, may never try them

I've had an irrational fear of water you have to be in in games since Tomb Raider 1 😂 I can't explain it, it's just a thing.

@Lupus mate, I struggled with the moon thing as well, thought I was losing my mind. Those gas giants are sometimes just too big and colorful, blots out planets and moons

Exactly, I stopped on Sunday cause of trying to find that moon. Couldn't play on Monday as we had a MBC thing we had to go to. Sigh one kid in Grade 11 means they want to do these things.
Last night I was just too tired from once again driving the same kid back from rehearsals, so yeah my kids are stopping me playing... :-P

I've been playing this in PSVR2 and been mostly having a blast doing the expedition. I have played it before a few years ago but never got that far and I'm finding I am having to drop out of the headset semi regularly just to google where to find certain things, which is breaking the immersion quite a bit.

I spend quite a bit of time in the wiki looking up ways to make things in the refiner so I don't actually have to find a planet with the stuff I need

Breaking immersion isn't really a thing for me as I'm also on Discord and whatsapp and I can usually sit in a building or my ship while I do things outside of the game, can see it would be different in VR though. Must be so cool to feel like you're really IN the game!

Playing in VR is really cool, its so good and cant play it on a flat screen anymore. Got to a water planet last night and its so convincing that if you have thalassophobia it might be a problem :D.

I discovered I have a bit of that when I played Horizon Forbidden West, just couldn't cope with Aloy and the near drowning sounds she was making as she ran out of air. Was thrilled they offered a setting change to help with it. I'm okay doing the underwater in NMS but it can be a bit spooky!

Expedition done and dusted :) would've been done quicker but I did spend a long time trying to build an underwater base. Which now lays barren
