No Man's Sky

Really need to get back into the game. With new project running at work, time has been a bit limited.
@AlphaJohn are you on the co-lab list with @Sundancer and co?
So far it's only been you that's joined us, happy to include others if they wanna join. I've been a bit distracted by GTA online and Mass Effect but planning to jump back into NMS when they hopefully have a new update soonish.

Must be a big one

Not what I was hoping for (See edit above) Was wishing for Voygers 2 kinda more ship parts, but its free update so cant complain.

Guess waste removal = 🦺

Edit: Never actually used Exocraft as they kinda feel like a waste so guess I'll have to get them & upgrade em now.

I only have 15 hours total in NMS and last played in 2021.
Any tips on getting back into it now?
Any local Discords I should look at?

I would just jump into it and see how you go. Maybe start with the new expedition as a new save and then continue playing after that? Think @AlphaJohn may have started that way on a previous expedition?

I haven't joined any NMS discords, not sure if there are local.
This looks to be the official one from a google search: https://discord.com/invite/nomanssky

Like @Sundancer said, I reckon starting with an Expidition is good place. As it gives you a crash cource as well as handing loads of upgrades to get you started, end of the expedition you can just hit a black hole and be ready to "start" on a empty space with all the basics sorted.
