Hi, we called you last night and this morning to sort out. From my understanding this was sorted, it was just an APN setting? Correct me if i am wrong, happy to help!

Hello, my network is also unavailable. I also contacted your customer service, but they just told me that my network is normal and they did not continue to solve the problem for me. According to my current understanding, as far as I know, 4 -5 users have encountered the same problem, and even manual search cannot find the RAIN signal.

It happens where I am every single night since the lockdown began around April.
Nothing changes on my side except when I try at night I cannot pick up the tower I am connected to during the day and then I get "no service".
If I do connect, it is to towers very far away until the service is restored at some point in the morning, sometimes as late as 11am.
They have tower and network issues which their team do not bother to investigate.
6 months and all I get told is to keep rebooting and repositioning my device until I find a better tower.
Why can they not actually try to pinpoint and solve what is wrong with the towers?

APN settings, if its not set it looks like its not working.
check, check and check again your APN settings.
How to set APN, if only RAIN is filled in, I have already set it, but the problem is that I can't search the Rain signal manually

In my case the APN settings are correct. It goes into "no service" mode overnight.
A reboot connects me to a tower but the towers are so far away the connection does nothing but timeout.
Later in the day the tower that goes offline overnight, comes back online and I get around 2Mbps.
Not fabulous, but usable.
Why does the connection die for sometimes several hours at a time?

mine does that as well, are you on the R250 deal?
maybe thats why it switches off on its own to prevent you from using data after 6PM?

set it to automatic, and dont try changing network provider, as it hops between providers on its own.

usually setting it to rain as the apn works wonders, try moving around the router, or check the rain website to see where your tower is located.

Yes, on the R250 deal. I wont pay R479 when the connection is not stable.
However, it should restore itself by 11pm but I cannot get a connection sometimes until 11am the next morning.
The thing is it does not go off at 6pm, its random times during the night and now in September it has started doing the same thing during the day.

been happening to me as well, might be some algorithm that controls us on the R250 deal and gives us worse service to push us into upgrading.

just live with it honestly, I use mine as the second sim in my phone, internet anywhere I am.
for me the R250 is well worth the flexibility

Nope. The R479 package is the same. After many weeks of trying to get an answer out of rain regarding why the speeds are suddenly horrible, as in 0.5Mbps download but somehow 17Mbps upload most of the time (dips to 1Mbps as well), I have been accused of lying about my location. I have given so much evidence and logic, but they don't listen. Now at work, rain simply doesn't work anymore. It instantly disconnects whenever it does get a connection.

I made a request to switch to the R250 package again beginning of next month, but now I'm probably just gonna cancel the entire thing since it's gotten even worse. Looking at many other options now.

I even got a R250 package youtube ad this morning LOL

What is happening with RAIN today. My 3 simcards are all saying no service:unsure:. The one sim connected and then disconnected seconds after that. I tried changing the frequency, apn seems ok. Nothing.

Notice how these threads about "No Service" never are responded to with any sort of indication of what the underlying problem actually is.
They are well aware they have tower and network problems that go beyond load shedding and congestion.
We all understand a little hiccup here and there but there never seems to be any root cause analysis and long-term resolution.

Happening here too since 12am this morning connects for like a couple mins then dies again have to do airplane mode on/off for it to connect in PE

Strangely enough the sim card seem to work in the same area but say 10km away. Now back to the workplace where it used to work fine it says "no service". Can it be a tower issue since the map on the website says there is towers 0.5km and 0.9km from my position. Others are like 2.4km and more away.
